Learning Support
Our school has a policy for meeting the needs of pupils with special educational needs whether or not the child has a statement of special educational needs. This policy includes information about the processes and procedures in terms of provision for the identification, assessment and provision for all pupils with special educational needs, with reference to the use of staffing, other support and links with parents. Parents are informed when Individual Education Plans ( IEP’s ) are formulated by the teacher, working alongside the SENCO (Special Needs Co-Ordinator). Each plan is regularly reviewed and decisions are made as to the next steps to take for the benefit of the child.
